Hi!

We're Katie & Victoria

Two regular moms trying to make everyday snack wins a little easier.

How the Story Starts

Navigating the chaos of parenthood

Like a lot of parents, we care a lot about what we feed our kids... but our kids don't exactly care as much as we do.

We'd find a "healthy" recipe on Insta, squeeze in 20 minutes to run to the grocery store, then spend way too long making it. Usually, we were left with a huge mess and food our kids wouldn't touch it.

After enough of those moments, we stopped chasing perfection and started looking for little wins. Something easy, something nutritious, and something our kids would actually ask for again. That's what led us to muffins.

Store-bought options weren't cutting it. Most were loaded with sugar, preservatives, and weird ingredients we didn't feel great about serving our kids.

The result? A mix kids genuinely love and parents feel good about serving. It has 50% less sugar than leading muffin mixes, and the fiber and protein come naturally from the real fruits and veggies in the mix.

We think we nailed it.

Why we exist

We were tired of choosing between food our kids would eat and food that actually nourishes them.

A hundred baking attempts, a freezer full of failures, and brutally honest feedback from our kids

01

The morning chaos

Backpacks, breakfast, "what do you want?" "I don't know" - every single morning, on repeat.

02

The compromise

Either the kids ate it (sugar-bomb) or it was actually nutritious (untouched). Pick one.

03

The experiments

Whole grains. Real fruit. Veggies hiding in plain sight. Less sugar. Test, taste, repeat.

04

Birdie Bakes Co

A muffin mix that nails it - fast, real, healthy, and (most importantly) actually eaten.

Our mission

To do the hard work of nourishing your family, so that you don't have to

Real ingredients, thoughtfully sourced and baked into foods your kids will actually eat.

Our vision

Innovating pantry staples so that they're never a compromise

Feeding your family well should never be a tradeoff between what they like and what they need. We're working on improving the pantry, one staple at a time.

Our core values

Making food for your family should be all four.

Four words. No tradeoffs. This is the bar every Birdie Bakes Co product has to clear before it ever makes it to your pantry.

01 //

Real

We will not put anything in our products that we wouldn't put in our own family's plate. Recognizable, traceable, and something you can actually understand without a dictionary.

02 //

Fast

Real food shouldn't take a real hour. We do as much of the prep work upfront as possible so your weeknight is one bowl, one pour, and into the oven. Life is already busy enough, let's not make it any more complicated.

03 //

Healthy

That means ingredients you can actually read and pronounce, nothing artificial, and no surprises. Ever. The good stuff has to be the default, not the nice to have.

04 //

Fun!

Making food for your family should be fun! Don't forget that the little moments count just as much as the big ones. The packaging, the smells, the laughs, every bit of it should be joyful.

A note from the kitchen

Real ingredients, for real families.

If you're reading this, chances are you've already had one of those mornings, the kind where everyone's hungry, nobody can agree, and the pantry isn't helping. We've been there. We're still there, honestly.

Birdie Bakes Co isn't a perfect-parent brand. It's a permission slip. To say yes to muffins for breakfast. To pour mix from a pouch and still feel good about what's in the oven. To take the easy way some days, but at least you know the easy way still has real fruits and vegetables in it.

We made this for our kids. We're so glad it gets to feed yours, too.
